Nationwide Machinery & Equipment Transportation

Moving machinery starts with understanding the load. I’m Bryan Ellis, the freight broker behind The Freight Fella. I help manufacturers, equipment dealers, and industrial businesses coordinate machinery transportation nationwide. You work directly with me, and all freight is brokered through King of Freight.

Choosing the Right Trailer

Depending on your shipment, flatbed, step deck, RGN, double drop, or extendable trailers may be considered. Final equipment selection requires reviewing your specifications, loading access, and route details. I avoid universal fit or capacity claims because every machinery shipment is unique and must be evaluated on its own merits.

Oversize and Specialized Shipment Planning

When machinery or equipment exceeds applicable size or weight limits, additional planning is required. Oversize shipments may need permits, route reviews, pilot cars, or escorts. These requirements depend on the specific shipment, equipment, and route, and must be confirmed during the planning process before a truck is dispatched.

Machinery Shipping Questions

Can you help select the trailer?

Yes. Trailer selection depends entirely on your shipment’s dimensions, weight, and loading requirements. Every move is evaluated individually to confirm feasibility and ensure the right equipment is matched to your specific machinery.

Can you coordinate non-running equipment?

We coordinate transport for both running and non-running units. Whether your equipment rolls or requires specialized lifting is a critical detail confirmed during the review process to determine availability of suitable trailers and carriers.

Can you help with multiple pieces or project moves?

Absolutely. I work directly with manufacturers and dealers to coordinate multi-piece shipments and industrial project moves. Each project is managed individually to ensure consistent service and professional oversight across the entire move.

What information is needed for a quote?

To evaluate your shipment, I need pickup and delivery locations, requested dates, weight, dimensions, photos, and loading access details. Providing the make and model helps me verify technical specifications during the individual review process.
